Meet Dr. Gene Paek
Board-certified anesthesiologist dedicated to delivering safe, compassionate anesthesia care for patients and supporting dental and medical teams across Washington State.

With more than 15 years of experience in anesthesia care, Dr. Paek partners with dental practices, physicians, and hospitals to deliver the highest standard of anesthesia for patients of all ages.
His approach is simple: combine advanced medical expertise with genuine compassion so every patient feels safe, respected, and well cared for.
Credentials & Experience
A Journey of Service
Before medicine, Dr. Paek proudly served as an active-duty cavalry soldier. His experiences during that time shaped his deep desire to serve others and led him to pursue a career in medicine.
He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine in Portland, Oregon, followed by Anesthesiology training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Paek has held leadership roles in anesthesia departments, served as a partner at Overlake Hospital for eight years, and continues to provide hospital-based care at St. Joseph Medical Center.
