Sunshine Anesthesia, PLLC is a mobile office-based anesthesia service dedicated to making dentistry safer, more comfortable, and more accessible. We work directly with dental offices throughout Washington State to provide high-quality anesthesia care in a familiar environment.
Meet Dr. Gene Paek, MD
Services
Dr. Gene Paek, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive experience in hospital, outpatient, and mobile anesthesia settings. He has provided care for thousands of pediatric and adult patients and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and compassion. He was recognized as a Seatte Top Doc in 2023 and currently practices in both office based and hospital based anesthesia. He has current active hospital privileges at various trauma hospitals in Washington State.
Before becoming a doctor, Gene Paek was an active duty soldier in the cavalry. During a combat tour of duty, medicine became his passion. After an honarable discharge, he graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University with a medical degree, trained in Portland, OR for Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology at the Univeristy of Utah in Salt Lake City. He moved to Bellevue, WA and worked as a partner at Overlake Hospital for eight years while taking on various leadership roles. He now splits his time providing mobile anesthesia and inpatient care at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma. Every year he provides care abroad as part of a medical mission team with his dentist wife and children.
